Tae Kwon Do is a martial art that originates from Korea. It combines kicking techniques, self-defense, speed, balance, flexibility, meditation and philosophy. In 1989, taekwondo was the world's most popular martial art in terms of number of practitioners with over 70 million around the world. Gyeorugi, a type of sparring, has been an Olympic event since 2000.

Samul nori is a genre of traditional percussion music orginating in Korea. The word samul means "four objects" and nori means "play". Kwaeng gwari, jing, jang gu and buk are the four traditional Korean musical instruments that are used. The traditional Korean instruments are called pung mul. Samul nori has its roots in Nong Ak, farmers' music, a Korean folk genre comprising music, acrobatics, folk dance, and rituals which was traditionally performed in rice farming villages in order to ensure and to celebrate good harvests.

Hanbok is the traditional Korean dress. It is often characterized by vibrant colors and simple lines without pockets. Although the term literally means "Korean clothing", hanbok today often refers specifically to hanbok of Joseon Dynasty and is worn as semi-formal or formal wear during traditional festivals and celebrations. The modern hanbok does not exactly follow the actual style as worn in Joseon dynasty since it went through some major changes during the 20th century for practical reasons.

Countries in the world have their own cultures made more colorful, beautiful and vibrant because of Folk Dances that are reflection of who they are. In the east, the Chinese have their symbolic Dragon Dance, the Japanese have the ancestral dance Bon Odori. In the west the Americans have their Square Dance. On the other hand, the Philippines will not be left behind. "The Pearl of The Orient" boast of a varitey of Filipino Folk Dances.

Eight dancers perform with one large drum placed on the center of the stage. The main dancers called wonmu, and the assisting dancers called hyeopmu. Four dancers hold a drumstick in each hand, surround and play the drum; the others, holding a flower-shaped stick in each hand, form an outer circle. The dancers wear a jacket of which the color represents a certain direction: black-north, red-south, blue-east, and white-west.

A line dance is a choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines or rows without regard for the gender of the individuals, all facing the same direction, and executing the steps at the same time. Other words, come and have a good time line dancing with us!

The gayageum or kayagum is a traditional Korean zither-like string instrument, with 12 strings, although more recently variants have been constructed with 21 or other numbers of strings. It is probably the best known traditional Korean musical instrument.
The daegeum is a large bamboo transverse flute used in traditional Korean music. It has a buzzing membrane that gives it a special timbre. It is used in court, aristocratic, and folk music, as well as in contemporary classical music, popular music, and film scores.
